Hi there. As you are all aware by now, we have recently lost 2 pro wrestling weekly TV shows. Firstly, NXT. A show that has a decades worth of history and has shaped the future of WWE as we know it. Secondly, there's NWA Powerrr. The worst rated wrestling show by the Wrestling Observer. Both of these have had their archives deleted with nowhere to move them, effectively becoming lost media. This to be honest here, is what I'm concerned about with streaming services. If we are going to see companies intentionally creating lost media and if we are forced to pirate, what options do we have to watch archives of past shows? To be clear, yes I am being serious about this as we have reached a point where we need to really examine the flaws with streaming services and how creating lost media will force people to become media pirates.
