I feel like kid me would have loved this. Mid thirties me ... not so much.
didn't need to see someone put a needle through someones mouth just to then hit them with a chair.
Weirdly, I wonder if the awkward silence with the crowd at the end was a little bit of feeling the chair shot to the head and ref stoppage probably was a let down after all of that? Most older fans for probably their entire lives have been conditioned that people kick out of them.
Even if we're moving/moved away from them, and rightly so.
A lot of people chanting and expecting fire at some point too.
There was also a really long pause before Page's music so I think a lot of people may have been "ok so is something else gonna happen?"
I feel like when you do stuff like this, it gets me wondering how does anyone beat Swerve or Page in a regular singles match now.
Top rope powerbombs, cinderblocks, tables, needles, staples... how does a "regular" move like a Rainmaker top that...
