I know that Hogan is meaningful to a lot of people, but it's the bronze medal of title reigns... breaking it means nothing truly significant.
If that was the longest reign ever it might be a discussion, but it's just bad booking to prioritize breaking hogan's streak over moving the story forward.
Respect to Roman ☝️, but the time of the tribal chief has passed, it's time for a new story.
