Question for you all regarding tomatoes.
I started my tomatoes (zone 5) too early this year and they got huge but sickly indoors.
I took them out yesterday and decided to root cutting and through out the larger plants so that I can transplant in several weeks time.
The problem is that I didn’t use suckers for the cuttings. I use branches off the main stem (these are all indeterminate plants).
Have I messed up completely ? Or will they root and put out new branches and flowers ?
Everything I read online focuses on suckers only but some mention branches (very few). Anyone have experience with this ?
Thanks in advance.
