Almost all but 2-3 people across several chats called me a liar for hitting 1:49 once my senior year.

It’s really not that unattainable, several students do so, per year,

But here’s my point… β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” Are these other sub 1:50 kids, also maxing out weight room equipment for reps of sets?

Because I did so. I was mid rowing 240lbs for sets, curling 130lbs on a bench press bar, shoulder pressing 130lbs, tricep rope pulling 200lbs, using 70lb weights in each hand for lunges, 1 arm rowing (bent over back exercise) of 110lbs for sets of 20 , leg pressing 500lbs for reps & sets.

I was so freakish I had to almost scream as I lifted it felt weird but no one could touch my lift #s

Our track was a regular 400m, Hockinson High. We were sponsored by Nautiulus. We had brand new nice equipment to use. A lot of schools don't even have that.

I won't argue that I peaked in HS. I did. But I also know for a fact, 110%, that I ran a 1:49 once.

ONCE. Normal was a 1:52-1:54.

I'm sorry that others train for years and don't reach what I did, sorry for them? Idk what to say to that. Some people, just have a natural good build. My dad was a Navy Seal also so I come from good lineage.

It's not that far fetched... for real... It's not like I said I ran a world record time. A 1.49 is attainable, just for the 1/100th of 1%.

l ate right, worked out 2 hours a day, and was on a heavy diet of NO2 workout drinks which are vaso dilators.

Vaso dialators, given to someone of elite "natural fitness" would just push their body that much more truly make them a fitness freak like I was.

Idk how else to say it. I worked hard, learned it.

We had 4:15 milers that I was nearly a 1/4 lap ahead of by 2 laps. And yes, they pushed themselves. I asked them too and we tried several times.

I KNOW how doubtful it is. I do. But it happened. Idk what else to say but Im tired of defending how much of a generic freak I was.

Go see what the rest of the sub 1:50 runners lift. I bet, they don't touch the type of weights I moved... Im sure that has something to do with it...
