So, I just found out today that I'll be interning in Springfield over the summer, and was wondering what all I should do and take advantage of while I'm there, as well as general "You should know this cause you aren't from here." kind of advice.

So, what would you say to a 22 year old college student moving to Springfield over the summer who doesn't know anyone from or around there?

edit: Thanks for all the advice! I thought this was kind of a long shot, but you guys gave some great info! On another note, is there any decent biking/walking paths in town, or is it something I should avoid or go to a nearby larger park? Is there an archery range in town, nearby? Any good tattoo artists?
