How do you achieve this finish?

Hola,
I have some machined stuff I want to paint. I'm a noob when it comes to spray painting, but my dad said if I get him the right cans he'll show me how to do it.
My question is how can I achieve this type of a finish? It's a finish textured finish (I think it's called hammered") and doesn't seem to scratch easily.
