I am struggling with the 40 minute blood pressure check—the person that does it is very stiff/awkward and seems to not like me or be uncomfortable with me tripping. Just weird vibes, and is kind of ruining my treatments lately. I mostly anticipate the intrusion the whole 40 minutes instead of relaxing.
I definitely have trauma related hypervigilance as well. However, I trust another person who sometimes does the check, and always feel safe and relaxed for these treatments. I also trust my doctor and another staff member feel neutral (no bad vibes though).
Any suggestions? Can you relate at all?
