This post has been de-listed
It is no longer included in search results and normal feeds (front page, hot posts, subreddit posts, etc). It remains visible only via the author's post history.
As other subreddit mods have already done, we are also making a pinned discussion every month (or two), covering different topics related to spooncarving. These posts are additional and not a replacement for everyday questions discussion, simmilar to the finishing thread that was pinned for the last two months. The topics will be chosen by the community. In this post we are hoping to receive feedback and suggestions for topics.
We intend to use these posts to improve and grow the r/spooncarving wiki
Examples: axing, knife techniques, wood types, spoon shapes, handle shapes, tool care, spoon care, spoon photography.
Keep on carving, the mod team.
My personal weak point: spoon designs! I always followed the wood, but there are probably classic shapes and design tricks that helps a lot and I am completely unaware of.
