I have a grade 2 spondy at L5-S1. My back pain has actually been pretty good recently. However, Iโve developed horrible weakness in my legs this year. I am able to overcome it when doctors test me for strength, such as when asked resist their hands with my feet or legs. Yet, I have this constant weak feeling in my legs. It feels like my nerves are hyperactive or something. Walking long distances has started to become challenging.
For those of you that experience constant leg weakness, can you share your experience? Are your symptoms similar to mine? I will be seeing a neurologist next week to help rule out other causes of my symptoms. If everything is ruled out, itโs safe to say I will need a fusion. At this point, I hope I am not experiencing permanent nerve damage from waiting too long.
