Crazy pain after playing basketball
Post Body

I was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis about two years ago due to a degenerative disc in my L5-S1. I decided to go on a pescatarian diet with an emphasis on anti-inflammatory foods and took multi-vitamins and turmeric pills. The pain started to feel very manageable along with regular exercise and stretching. Just yesterday I was playing basketball and took one hard step and felt all the stress on my lower back. Now the pain is unbearable where I can full extend my spine. I’m thinking I didn’t stretch and warmed-up enough for my muscles to take on that much stress from the activity. Any tips for decreasing the pain during this time? I’ve stretched and massaged my posterior chain, as I noticed that’s the main reason for my back pain when the back, glutes, and hamstrings are tight. The last time I’ve felt this pain was a few years ago and I had to take a toradol shot to feel better. Any help would be great and thank you!
