I made a post two days ago looking for someone to keep me company during the holiday because of some recent events had been leaving me feeling rather low and needing comfort.
I was pleasantly surprised by just how many people who had reached out and went as far as to want to lend their words or time. While none of those plans had gone through I've made quite a few new friends out of this experience and saw just how generous and well-mannered people are here. There was one person who chose to judge the book by its cover, but I know Spokane is better than that. (:

Considering I hadn't had a normal Thanksgiving since 2018 (moved here May of last year) or made any new friends in over 6 months, all in all I'm extremely grateful for how positive and enjoyable it turned out to be. Reignited my social drive to be more extroverted & spend time with others.
