I, personally, have a great deal of difficulty with not clearing areas in a battle. All military and law enforcement agencies train to not leave your rear flank exposed. Even in stealth mode, you don't want to leave a target or potential threat able to attack you from behind. Just my own experiences and maybe some of you agree or disagree.
