Has anyone else just started as spies or mercs in classic for many games in a row?

A friend and I have played a crazy amount of classic SvM in the last week. However, in the over 50 games we have played, we have never, ever started as spies, always as the mercs. Is anyone else running into this? Perhaps just starting as spies even?
