Getting back in communication with the "deceased"

Hi, I became aware last year that what I suspected was an ability to communicate with spirits was in fact real. I got kind of good at it but I stopped being able to do it after picking up some poisonous habits. I'm finally ready to let these things go and get back to learning about and practicing my gifts. Is anyone willing to DM me and discuss this? Maybe share your individual experiences, insight, advice? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
