Chat bot relationship 'score?'

Is there any way to make use of a kind of relationship score with these bots? Like, I know you can do it with programming and variables, but I wasn't sure if it can be done here. It could help to force the user to put in effort and feel like something is really building up. Start low and build it up before they are willing to do anything...
