I just got a pair of magnetic balls and I've been fidgeting with them non-stop ever since. They make the best little noise when they click together, I'm sure I would hate that noise if someone else was making it repeatedly lol but somehow it's actually super nice when it's me making it. It's like a little click-boing noise. And they're good for just rotating in my hands, though with my fine motor skill issues that does frequently result in me dropping one of them. Thankfully they are attracted to the metal in my wheelchair so they usually don't go far.
For the month or so before I got those my favorite thing to stim with was a floppy bead-filled stegosaur toy. It was perfect for holding while doing my hand fluttering stim and the texture of the beads feels so good when I squish him. Also he has the Goofiest looking face. Idk who painted his eyes on but I hope they're having a good day because they make me happy whenever I look at them.
What's your current favorite thing to stim with?
