Physical symptoms?
Post Body

My whole life I've had the problem that when I do things it causes me to feel physically ill. Like I'll experience severe fatigue, nerve/muscle/joint pain, lightheadedness, and rarely also nausea. It happens with both physical exertion and mental exertion but it also happens when I get overstimulated or overwhelmed, even if I'm not otherwise exerting myself. In severe instances the tremors in my hands also worsen and spread until my whole body is shaky.

I didn't realize this wasn't just what happened to everyone after exerting themself until I was in my early 20s, I ultimately found that the description of ME/CFS fit my symptoms so after a process of elimination my doctor diagnosed me with it. But recently, as I've started to realize how many of my other issues are actually part of my autism, I've been heavily questioning if it may just be a physical expression of overstimulation and overwhelm.

Does anyone else have physical symptoms when overwhelmed or close to a meltdown/shutdown? Or after a meltdown/shutdown?
