so i live with my boyfriend and his family. usually there's always a few people in the house, but his mom wants to go back to work, and his sister is also starting a new job soon. because of this, no one besides me would be here when his little brother comes home from school. so his mom asked me if i wanted to babysit for her when she goes back to work, for like $5 an hour. she knows how bad i feel that i'm the only adult in the house that can't work, so she wanted me to be able to feel more useful and earn extra spending money for myself. of course i said yes because i'm generally good with kids and i've already watched him for free plenty of times and it wasn't hard at all. he usually keeps to himself in his room, so i just have to stay upstairs and help him if he asks me for anything. and now in a few weeks i'll be getting paid for it! i know it's not a traditional 9-5 job but i'm so happy!
