I’m creating a tome of understanding For spells, their effectiveness and their means of determining amplitude. I’m looking for general exploitable rules that determine power, direction, and energy of spell. Things I’m looking for are : 1. Minimum requirements for a successful spell. 2. What would a novice spell caster have to do that an advanced spellcaster wouldn’t have to do? 3. What counts as a spell versus a potion? 4. What are the uses of spells? What things can be changed by them and what are their limitations that you might need other forms of magic for? 5. What determines how far or long a spell travels? 6. When will spells simply not work? Why? 7. What types of spells are there? What makes them of that type?
