So we recently upgraded the speed of our internet to the 1 gig speeds and they sent over a modem to swap with our current one. Before we swapped we were averaging around 500mbps now we’re averaging 23mbps both plugged into the router and over wifi. Normally I would have my own router modem setup but i went through spectrum since i haven’t had any issues before hand. I was thinking about getting a new router to help alleviate the issue since the current router only produces 2.4 wifi connections. Do you think this would be the appropriate start.
