Looking to get back into Spawn. Which collection would you recommend?

I was a big fan of Spawn growing up and read many of the comics. It’s been nearly 20 years that I’ve read any but I started looking and saw a few collections that look interesting, particularly King Spawn, Spawn Dark Ages and Gunslinger Spawn. Of these three which would you recommend the most?

I like dark gritty stories and, while I do absolutely love westerns, I find myself drawn to Dark Ages but haven’t read great things. I see King Spawn be suggested by some but I’m unsure if it will be gritty enough for my taste (I don’t like traditional “super hero” stories).

Any help is appreciated!
