Post Body

All of you "Multi-App" crusaders. I don't know what you're doing, but I tried door dash for the first time today. It was slow when I first got to my Walmart so I turned on after 39 mins of no offers. I was recently approved for door dash and I got a $4 offer may include tips. I declined and got paused with a message that basically said "you must accept offers to continue dashing, you can unpause when you're willing to accept offers" so I unpause myself and then I get a $3 may include tips... A quick search on reddit while the timer is ticking tells me that door dash doesn't reveal whether there is a tip or not and you find out after you drop the order. Well, I already hated that BS but I accepted that $3 offer. There was a $1 tip. I accepted 2 more offers, and then the final one was from advance auto parts, well I arrive immediately after recieving the offer and the customer was there to pick it up. The person at advance told me to just go ahead and drive on out there and mark as delivered. Bc it was on advance. So I did. I drove a total of 28 miles. Got payed $13.12 by door dash for 3 delivers with $4 tip pending. I pulled up to Walmart and got a $36 shop and deliver for 7.2 miles. I won't be dashing again. I'd rather not waste money and sit then miss dollars to chase after pennies.

EDIT: after examining earnings tab, I can confirm that the tip was definitely "hidden" however I didn't get $13.12 plus tips but including tips. Which is worse and tips are immediate not pending.
