Cash tips?

Are we allowed to take cash tips? Never happened to me before today, but I got 2 $5 tips and a $10 one. (The $10 one had it in the notes that they were doing a cash tip which I’ve also never seen but assumed they wouldn’t really lol) obviously I took the money and was grateful but are we “allowed to” ?????

I take cash all the time. On Monday this week, 2 people gave me $50 each. I was shocked. 1 was a pre school/daycare and the other one was an old lady in a subdivision.
