Is listening to music a good way to improve Spanish fluency?
Post Body

I know the way we speak in poetry and music could differ from how we speak in our everyday life. I think it may also depend on the type of music? Like I’ve noticed a lot of the newer Spanish artists (Raegatton?) use a lot of slang when speaking.

For me how I go about this is,

Get the lyrics of the song, listen to it one time while reading the lyrics.

Translate the lyrics listen again, this time I try and sing along which can be hard with faster songs.

Do this about 3 more times

Now try and sing along without reading the lyrics.

You should at least learn some parts of the song this way and expand your vocabulary and listening comprehension
