Hi,

I applied a few moments ago and had a few very simple questions

1. My reference letter was from my friend who works for another university. I am self employed atm and don't have my old college professors info (its been 5 years) would his work fine? Especially since he was in the program last year in Valencia.

2. I'm seeing varied info about the first come first serve basis. I putz around the past two weeks due to a stressful two weeks and waiting for documents. I heard the placement is mostly random and don't see why they'd keep the apps open until April if they just went from 1 to 2000 ot whatever the placement numbers are. I also have read they changed systems?

3. I selected 1) Madrid 2) Galicia 3) Basque

I wanted to be close to either an airport, Portugal, or France. I think I might have made an error wirh Galicia but want opinions. I was thinking since it's close to Portugal it might be fun, but didn't consider travel times :/
