Stumbled across this page a few days ago and have been getting to know our captain and learn about the mission here over the past couple days and I must say, I've been inspired to start mission planning for my own adventures again.

I see a kindred soul in the captain in several ways but the part about wanting to be seen and being remembered resonated with me. The driving force in my life has always been to leave an impact on everyone I interact with and I've been in a bit of a slump over the past few years. I'm not sure if anyone will read this or care but I'm going to try using this to push myself forward in focusing on my own goals and help drive me forward in the bigger mission of leaving an impact.
