Hello, everyone,
Last weeks Wednesday Theme, girls from Edgar Rice Burroughs stories, was well-subscribed and the girls got lots of upvotes. Thank you, everyone who contributed.
The theme for this Wednesday will be covers of comic and paperback novels in the style of “pulp” magazines of the 1930s, ’40s and ’50s.
That is, new works in the style of the 1930-1950s, not actual works from that time.
Here are a couple of examples of what we are looking for: An imaginary Star Wars novel, and an entry to a competition at a Science Fiction convention.
For Wednesday only, posts of any other Spacegirls will be removed.
When does Wednesday start, on the internet?
We discussed this and decided that as the majority of people on the internet are in the US, we would start the Wednesday theme at 0001 US East Coast Time.
That’s 0500 in the UK or 0600 in Europe.
Looking forward to seeing lots of exciting comic covers on Wednesday!
Best wishes,
