I had to sell my entire army of Wolves several years ago due to some financial issues. I'm looking to get back into them now that I've recollected my Tyranid army (at least till new models come out). I always stylized and painted my army as 13th company (pre GW saying they're all Wulfen) and heavily included chaos bits for flavor.

My hesitation now is that I've sort of wondered if Primaris marines are going to replace all of the normal Space Wolf units and if so, should I focus on those instead of trying to recreate my original army? I'll still want to paint them and kit-bash as much as I can for the "stuck in the eye for forever" feel, but I want to make sure I'm putting funds in the best place to start. I was gifted a box of assault intercessors but looking on Battlescribe they seem rather limited in gear selection and seem to be just as good as Blood Claws. Should I just use the weapon load-out from the intercessors or start the kit-bashing early to make them "bigger bloodclaws"?
