Just need some clarification on battle pass.

Almost pulled the trigger last night on buying it. I do have questions that I don't seem to get a straight answer on though.
Is it a one time purchase of $40 and you get every succesor chapter bundle that comes out? Or will there be another battle pass to drop $40 on for the next set of 3 succesor chapter bundles?
I know current is ultramarine, next is dark angel and then there is one more but I don't know if they're gonna keep charging $40 every 3months for chapter bundles or not.
