06+ First layer shenanigans

Can anyone suggest a reason for this and also a solution?
Before alignment, I cleaned the bed surface then I have done a Z align, adjusted the offset then a bed mesh align. All appears good but when the first layer is going down, parts of it appear to not stick.
Pic is from the 2nd attempt at this part since the first one decided that adhesion was optional after an hour and a half (8h total print time).
