Post Body

I have gone through the bed leveling process, successfully printed the 9 square bed leveling test, and also printed the ship. Everything went well.

However, nothing else is working. I’ve been trying axolotls, octopus, frogs, clay cutters, everything gets jammed up.

I was just printing an axolotl. Everything was looking great. It was at least 30% complete. I went back to check on it 20 minutes later and it was all gooped up on the nozzle.

I have the V06. Using 1.75 PLA Nozzle 200 Bed 80 Flow 100 Speed 100 Fan 0 Z offset -.90

We live in a cooler climate, so our home is around 66-67 degrees. Not sure if that makes a difference. I am at my wits end with this.

You are too far away from the print bed, tune your z offset. You need to see some squish.

To add context your first layer is not sticking to the bed correctly. If you don’t have adhesion the print will lift or what I think is happening in your case getting grabbed by the print head, this will cause the filament building up around the nozzle.

Also print slower until you get it right, some models just won’t print fast, especially on a new untuned printer
