The monument.

The first raiding party from Uzoq arrived from the mainlands to the Silver City in less than a year. That is because they knew where it was. The men and women of the Kirikites, the Broken people, were ousted from the mainlands of Uzoq a long time ago. They had no maps to reference in search for the City, only legends of a monument that is sticking out of the ground of a barely buried city.

It took the Kirikites nearly 1000 years to find the Silver City. By the time they found it, their language and cultures have morphed into something entirely unique. They traveled around the continent nearly endlessly. They met various cultures, became rich, became poor, but they have not found the City. They nearly visited everywhere that can be traveled to in the continent.

Until they finally found it. The monument sticking out of the sand. Beneath it was a buried city as the legends said.

The Khan turned to his horde.

We are not Uzoq. We are Kirikites. Broken people. This is the Kirikarazi. The Broken Land. We shall lay our camp inside of the Kiriksehir. The Broken City. My fellow horde, we are home.

Cheers rang throughout the whole continent.

The Kirikites were broken, but they were not defeated. And they were finally home.
