Successfully checked in for tomorrow flight (JAX-ATL). Should I risk it or go with my backup?

Post Body

We all know what has been going on the past few days, which is unfortunate and unnecessary on many levels.

After monitoring the last few days of flights departing and arriving at JAX, only one or two SW flights made it through each day.

For the flight that’s scheduled for tomorrow, which I’m supposed to be on, it’s the first time since the 26th of December that the flight is reading scheduled and plans to depart on time.

The next few SW flights for tomorrow morning have populated canceled on FlightAware, so I’m skeptical if the ATL flight will depart as it says.

I did see that the previous inbound flight for the plane took place on the 26th of December, so the plane sat at the gate in JAX for three days without movement.

Should I risk it or should I go with the backup airline that I booked at another nearby airport?

Is anyone in JAX planning to be on that flight tomorrow? Your thoughts?

Any advice would be appreciated!
