100% whole wheat sourdough starter doesn't pass float test, should I wait to make bread?

Post Body

So I've had my sourdough starter for 16 days. I feed it once every 24 hours with 100% king arthur whole wheat flour. It bubbles and it smalls fruity and vinegar-ish.

It seems like it barely doubles in size. Maybe not quite there yet. It's a 100% hydration starter using the same wheat flour.

I did the test and the sourdough only floated for about 3-5 seconds.

I wanna make my first load but if I have to wait I'll wait.
