Went to bake a recipe, only to realize that it uses ripe starter and not discard. How do I get enough ripe starter, if I only keep ~45g of starter?

Post Body
I feed a 1:1:1 ratio of 15g starter, water and flour. I didn't realize that discard couldn't be used for most recipes, especially bread, and have been collecting with plans to bake bread, thinking it could be used.
How am I supposed to feed my starter, both to continue to have a starter to feed, and to use in a recipe?
