I don't really know what to call these, but it seems that more and more we're getting a... more wide variety of posts? Including
The sound of someone getting hurt (i.e. a slap, kick, or hit on the head) mashed up usually a single time with any old drum beat as in here and here,
Just a random noise that goes with a song but doesn't relate pitch or rhythm wise (ok this one is pretty funny)
People's words unmusically being added to songs as in here and here (Compare this to content like on /r/zappafied where the music flows with the natural rhythm and pitch of the speaker)
The votes on most of the videos seem to be mixed, with some people enjoying them, some people not, and some people who feel it's not right for the sub but like it anyways, and so on.
There's a difference between using a percussive sound or a single musical syllable and using something that sounds very similar to a real song as in here and here
Don't get me wrong: the content is darn enjoyable. I just want to get your opinion of if it fits with the description of this subreddit.
And as /u/ophello says:
I'm becoming annoyed that this sub is entirely one hit noises (one fart, one bang, one ding, etc) that is then played like an instrument. Well no shit it sounds like music -- you fucking composed a song with it.
I want to hear sounds that sound like music all by themselves. One fart does not sound like music.
I guess the sub would be dead without all of this though. Finding music in real life and editing it is really hard actually.
