Do I need to use an HDMI 2.1 cable for the eARC connection if my sources are going to the TV, then just current Sound over eARC?

Hey.
I have multiple 4k/120hz sources. I want to connect them to my TV, then from the TV to the Soundbar over the eARC port. Will I need an Ultra High Speed cable for the connection from the TV to the soundbar?
