So the release of Sony’s new SA-RS5 rear speakers are right around the corner, and I couldn’t be more excited. Hopefully I’ll be able to get my hands on it on release day. Alongside the rear speakers, I’ll be purchasing the A7000 and SW5. But I do have two questions about the A7000:
1) I read that the soundbar includes chromecast support. Is this regular hd content, or does it support 4k/Dolby Vision content?
2) Has there been an update to the soundbar to allow VRR and ALLM support? If not, is there a chance this could be updated with a simple firmware patch in the future?
Also, are there any soundbars I should really take a look at before draining my bank account with this pricey purchase? How happy are you A5000/7000 owners with the new 360 spatial sound mapping update?
