JBL SB560 3.1 worth it?

I found a JBL SB560 3.1 for 1999kr (181$) and i was wondering if anyone has any knowledge if its any good? Or even own one and could tell me about it! And second i also wonder whats the benefits of 3.1 vs 2.1? Also i have earc in my tv how would i use the soundbar to maximize the sound?
