Wife said she’d spend up to $1k on a new TV & soundbar set… think I’m decided on the TV since it fits in the budget… but undecided on the Soundbar/surround sound system…
Where it’s going is fairly open concept but the living room is roughly 14x12’.
The TV is a LG UHD 75UR80 for $650
The sound bar(s) I’m looking at are:
LG SPD7R 7.1 surround sound for $220
Vs.
LG SQC1 2.1 sound bar for $110.
Guess my question is in a 1950s cape do I need the surround sound?
Is it worth the extra $110?
And while I believe the rear speakers connect via Bluetooth. how do they get power??
I’ve tried looking on the web and LG site but can’t find the info
Also should I just wait till I can afford the 89” I really want? I have a 65” now in the same room currently
