I remember nights when I would just scroll endlessly on Youtube and eventually reach this rabbit hole of great, undiscovered list of songs one after another. Nakaka-miss yung ganoon. You don't know what to expect. How I wish, I could revisit songs I've heard a decade ago, mahina kasi ako makaalala ng song title, lol.
Recently, I've been enjoying making my playlists public. Huge part of it involves curation and with the rise of AI generated music that's around Spotify, I feel I am "boxed" somehow. My daylist recos started sounding the same every time and I don't like it. Tbh, panget ng algo ng Spotify, haha. Apple offers more variety but I am still lost in exploring Apple music's UI.
So kayo, how do you get to discover new music without depending so much on algorithm?
