how to set up soundblasterx g6 on ps4 through optical?

hey everyone, I recently purchased the soundblasterx g6 for my ps4, and I must say I'm blown away how good this thing is. I have the sennheiser gsp 500 and I thought with it being at 28 ohms I'd have no problem driving it through the ps4 controller, man was I wrong. currently I'm powering it through usb on my ps4 pro, but I feel that I'm not taking full advantage of this thing so I was wondering on how would I set it up through the optical cord.
