M1 compatibility

Bought a new Mac recently and am reluctant to install Soulseek based on some previous threads mentioning it freezing/causing computer to crash etc.
Haven't found any discussions recently so thought I'd make a new thread. Anyone using Soulseek on M1 Macs fine or is it still causing the same issues?
The last Mac release I can see was back in Feb 2021... anyone know if they are working towards a new version with M1 compatibility?
