Simple energy work

All right.

It's probably easiest to get into it while you're alone, comfortable. Maybe lie down, still and quiet. You could put some wave or ocean sounds on the speaker.

Start to breathe, consciously. To where you can feel your body and all of its nooks and crannies. How your breath weaves in and out. Deep, slow belly breaths that slowly go up into your head. Feel your breath travel around in your brain. Feel how your breath can feel the energy around your body, how you can tap into the rhythm of the universe. Feel the earth breathe with you. Feel those birds chirping outside the window. Hello, birds. Hello, body. Notice a calming light around you. Notice you have an energetic light that goes from the earth into your body, out of your head. You are safe.

Now, slow and easy bring your focus to wherever your breath is being held up in your body. You may feel some pain that your breath is trying to bypass. Just notice that. Begin to tell yourself that you can feel that pain, and as soon as you do it's gone. That you don't need to hold your neck or throat or heart anymore. The earth is holding you.

Keep breathing, slow and easy. Let your breath feel any tension. As you start to tap into the blockage, feel it release in small increments. Little pockets of energy that you allow to leave your body. Remind yourself that you're doing an incredible job, and all you have to do is breathe. Let go. Start to feel how your energy exists inside your body, start to feel the energy slightly outside your body. Let your mind find where there is any tension and allow your exhale to release it. Nice and easy.

Take lots of breaks and let yourself feel how easy you are breathing, how much tension you have already released, and how easy it was. As easy as just believing it could happen. Let your body know it's done a great job and it doesn't have to hold onto pain anymore. Let the pain go into the earth beneath you to be transformed into light. The earth does this gladly and with great joy.

As you start to feel done with this session, relax and casually ask if your body needs anything. Let your body know it can feel good at any time, that it doesn't need to hurt anymore. Feel how easy it is to let go of tension, and remember that you can tap into it at any time.

If any thoughts or emotions come up, thank them.. watch how they flow in and out of your experience. Nothing is wrong. Allow yourself to grieve if needed.
