Was your 4G and VoLTE-capable phone blocked after the 3G shutdown?

The impact of the 3G shutdown on people with compatible phones has been well documented now. But what have you ended up doing following this? Have you managed to have the restrictions lifted from your device? Are you swapping your SIM between compatible devices? Did you give up and just buy a new phone?

I have a 1IV imported from Asia, was on Telus for a minute without 5g or volte but a couple weeks back after a software update I had volte and 5g without issue. On bell now and Volte 5g work no problem. I know fido had volte support as well so I feel like the 3g sunset may be less an issue in Canada now
