Did anyone ever own one? I bought it launch, initially I wanted the Google Pixel XL which launched the year prior but it was above my budget so I settled for Sony which launched early next year at a more affordable price.

I opted for the anticipated Google Pixel because of its good camera (or so it's advertising led me to believe)

Only to conclude there's not much difference between it against any other high end Android phone during the time.

The XZP was my daily driver for 2½ years until I was finally able to afford a Google Pixel and made the switch to Pixel 4 XL (gave the Xperia to my work friend who was in need of a phone upgrade)

I must say I do miss the side fingerprint scanner which unlocks it in a micro second, under display scanner simply can't compete.

That "Music app" was also nifty, I assume all Android phones had it until I made the switch.

End of this year will mark 4 years of me owning a Pixel and I plan on switching to the Sony Xperia 5 V.
