Calibration Tips - Motion Specifically
Post Body

Hey everyone!

What are your settings for motion to get rid of the "judder"/stuttering/strobing look that's extra present on high contrast shots or panning shots? I originally had Motionflow set to Custom and Smoothness to 3 with nothing else on and when I had friends over to watch a show they said it felt soap opera-y. I didn't see it but it did feel better when we turned Smoothness down to 1.

This opened up a rabbit hole because I want to have the closest to movie theater style feel when I watch something so I thought I'd see if anyone cracked the code and could share their settings to achieve the look. I found a lot about using True Cinema and setting CineMotion to High but I can't see a difference. Is that the way to go?

Thanks in advance for any help or calibration shares!
