200-600mm vs. 70-200mm

I own both lenses. I’ve noticed that the 200-600 doesn’t appear to be as sharp as the 70-200. I shoot stills but I have been doing a lot more video and really noticed the difference. Does anyone else experience the same? I would really like the 600mm F4, but I don’t have an extra 12k. lol.
