I'm thinking of purchasing a Sony a6600 to replace my BMPCC4K. While the BMPCC4K is an insane camera, I'm just not using it to its full potential, and there are times where it's not even that practical (i.e. as a travel camera). I also want more of a hybrid camera; I would like to start doing more photography along with video. That said, I have a few questions:
- Does the a6600 have false color available to help with exposure?
- Is the s-cinetone picture profile available (not a deal-breaker by a long shot, just a nice-to-have)?
- How easy is it to manually control things like aperture and iso on the fly?
- How good is the ibis?
I know that the a6700 just came out, and while it does offer some very nice upgrades, I don't really need them. I would rather buy a used a6600, and use the money saved on a decent lens, like the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8. I will adapt my other (EF-mount) lenses with the new 7Artisans adapter.
